Refund and Returns Policy

SMB Cannabis Consultants (SMBCC) provides advisory, training, and digital products for cannabis businesses. Our goal is transparency and fairness. Please read this policy before purchasing any service or product.

Eligibility for refunds

We do not offer refunds for completed consulting hours, delivered digital materials, or services that have begun, except where required by law. However, we will review refund requests if:

  • The purchased service was not delivered as described
  • You cancel within the allowed cancellation period for prepaid sessions
  • You were charged in error or experience a duplicate transaction

Consulting and advisory services

  • Deposits for consulting or licensing support are non-refundable once project work begins
  • If you cancel before any work starts, we refund the deposit minus processing fees
  • Session-based consulting (for example hourly calls) may be rescheduled once with at least 24 hours notice
  • No-shows or same-day cancellations are charged in full

Digital products and downloads

  • All digital materials, templates, or online courses are final sale once accessed or downloaded
  • If you experience a technical issue preventing download or access, contact us for support or replacement access

Workshops, webinars, and events

  • Cancellations made at least 7 days before the event receive a full refund
  • Cancellations made within 7 days receive a 50% refund or credit toward a future event
  • No refunds for same-day cancellations or no-shows, except for verified emergencies
  • If SMBCC cancels an event, you may choose a full refund or credit

Promotional offers and giveaways

Discounted, free, or promotional items (including spin-the-wheel prizes) are not eligible for refunds, returns, or exchanges unless stated otherwise in writing.

How to request a refund

To request a refund or credit, email billing@smbcannabisconsultants.com within 14 days of your purchase. Include your name, order or invoice number, and reason for the request. We respond within 5 business days.

Refund processing

  • Approved refunds are credited to your original payment method within 7–10 business days
  • Transaction or processing fees may be deducted where applicable
  • Refunds for credit card or third-party payment providers follow their timelines

Non-refundable purchases

  • Completed consulting work
  • Downloaded or accessed digital materials
  • Gift cards and promotional credits
  • Event tickets not canceled within the specified window

Policy changes

We may update this policy as our services evolve or as required by law. The revised date will appear at the top. Substantial changes will be posted on this page before taking effect.
